Twitassist.me was created by four Twitter and Ruby on Rails fanatics in Kansas City, Missouri. Why? At any given time, someone is tweeting a need for money. Sometimes, the need is great: a charity or medical bill. Other times, the need is a bit more shallow less pressing: a desire for the newest smart phone or tickets to the latest Hollywood blockbuster.
